Our experts

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root made of biocompatible titanium or ceramic that is firmly anchored in the jawbone. After the healing phase, it serves as a stable foundation for crowns, bridges, or implant-supported dentures.

Implant Placement – Our Procedure

1.Comprehensive Diagnostics & Treatment Planning – Before any implant placement, we perform precise diagnostics, including digital volume tomography (DVT). This 3D imaging allows us to visualize anatomically sensitive structures and plan the implant position with millimeter accuracy.
2. Minimally Invasive Implant Surgery – Implant placement is carried out under sterile surgical conditions, with local anesthesia, and—if desired—sedation or general anesthesia. Thanks to modern, gentle surgical techniques, we can minimize stress on the surrounding tissues and optimize the conditions for successful healing.
3. Healing & Osseointegration – In the following weeks, the implant integrates securely with the jawbone—a process known as osseointegration. During this phase, we provide close support and monitoring.
4. Implant Uncovering  – Once healing is complete, the implant is uncovered. Your dentist then fabricates the precisely fitting prosthetic restoration, such as a crown, bridge, or denture.

Bone Augmentation & Specialized Procedures:

If there is insufficient jawbone, modern augmentation techniques allow us to create optimal conditions for implant placement, including:
– Sinus Lift (internal/external) – Elevation of the sinus floor
– Bone-Split (bone expansion) & Bone Grafting
– Socket Preservation  – Preservation of the alveolar bone
– Use of autologous or biologic bone substitute materials
